Huskies trade places, win second giant slalom

BEAVER CREEK — Battle Mountain is nothing if not a courteous alpine team. The Huskies like to share. The Battle Mountain boys swept the podium again on Thursday during the second giant slalom of the season, but there were people in different places. Yes, Sands Simonton made it 2-for-2 with his second win in six days, but the Huskies’ Keenan Zopf moved up a spot to second and Victor Guilmineau got his first podium in third place.
