BEAVER CREEK — After a weekend winter storm brought 17 inches of new snow to Beaver Creek Resort, the mountain is set to open the majority of Grouse Mountain on Tuesday and Larkspur Bowl on Wednesday, bringing the resort acreage to 1,181 acres by Wednesday, accessed by 20 lifts. On Tuesday, Grouse Mountain and the Grouse Mountain Express lift (No. 10) will open for the season as will trails Red Tail, Goshawk, lower Peregrine and lower Kestrel.
