Menorah workshop is Sunday in Avon

AVON — What child doesn’t love the holiday of Hanukkah? Lighting the menorah candelabra, eating lots of chocolate gelt, and playing endless games of dreidel (spinning top) are just some of the favorite Hanukkah activities. This year, Chabad Jewish Center of Vail will be partnering with The Home Depot to offer a pre-Hanukkah menorah workshop at Home Depot, 295 Yoder Ave in Avon, on Sunday from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Participants will receive a free worker’s apron and craft their own unique menorah from supplies available at The Home Depot.
