Keystone in Summit County will open Friday for the 2014-15 ski season

KEYSTONE — Following a week of productive snowmaking and 5 inches of natural snowfall, Keystone Resort announced Tuesday its Opening Day is set for Friday. The 2014-15 season will get underway with first chair at 9 a.m., officially kicking off the resort’s 44th winter season. While waiting for first chair, skiers and riders will enjoy warm donut holes from Keystone’s pastry chef Ned Archibald, as well as hot chocolate and coffee at the base of the River Run Gondola.
