Gypsum man charged with theft of lost bank bag

EAGLE — This is about a bag full of blunders. About 2:20 p.m., last Tuesday, a Bonfire Brewery employee we’ll call Bonfire Boy left the Bonfire Brewery warehouse on Chambers Avenue in Eagle and headed toward the bank, which works out well because he was hauling a bank bag. That bank bag contained $10,000 — around $2,000 in cash and the rest in checks. Bonfire Boy left the bank bag on top of his car as he headed up the street, as we have all done.
