Proposed Eagle senior care facility meets $4.4M goal

EAGLE — Castle Peak Senior Care Community — the 64-bed skilled nursing and assisted living senior care facility proposed in Eagle — has met its $4.4 million fundraising goal. Augustana Care, a Minnesota based nonprofit organization that owns and manages 23 senior care projects, is partnering with Eagle County to build the Castle Peak Senior Care Community. Augustana hopes to break ground in 2014 at its 5-acre site located immediately north of Brush Creek Elementary School in the Eagle Ranch neighborhood.
