After a dispiriting 5-1 loss at Coal Ridge on Tuesday to start the season, the Devils bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Grand Junction Central on Thursday afternoon at Hot Stuff Stadium in their home opener. The key was getting off to a quick start. “I think we realized where our mistakes were,” Devils coach Bratzo Horruitiner said. “At the beginning against Coal Ridge, we were cold, a little neverous.
