Join Taste of Vail for the crème de la crème of outdoor tastings. Held at 10,350 feet above sea level, this event offers spectacular mountain vistas accompanied by gourmet food, beer, wine, and spirits. Snow or shine this is an event not to be missed

All Day Snowshoe Tour @ Gold Peak
Apr 1 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Our group leaders will take you into the surrounding wilderness as you learn about the area history, wildlife and natural surroundings
Full Day Tour (minimum 2 needed for tour to go out)

Fridays 9am-3pm
Cost $141: Includes all equipment (snowshoes, boots, poles & pack)  
Please bring a lunch, some snacks. Water provided.

All group tours & lessons for ages 14 and up unless otherwise noted.
 Please arrive 35 minutes prior to all tour start times to get outfitted, etc.

 VRD staff will provide materials and teach some simple techniques that are too messy or too tough to try to do on your own at home. Plan to have a great time while you make a mess. Attend for 30 to 90 minutes in the 2-hour window. Drop-In: $5

Our tours for the beginner on up utilize the spectacular wilderness areas that surround Vail. Cross-Country skiing is where it all started. Come join us! We will meet at the Golden Peak Nordic Desk at 9:30am. Reservations are not required.

General Mountain Tours starting on Dec. 14, 2015 this tour will leave from the Game Creek Desk adjacent to the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola and from the top of Gondola One at the Mid Vail Ski School desk each morning promptly at 10:30 a.m. It is highly recommended to get to either location by 10:15 as each participant will be required to sign a liability release form before the tour. Each tour is considered a “Familiarization Tour” of the mountain and should last about 2 hours

The Blue Sky Basin Tours starting on Dec. 15, 2015 begins at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, and Fridays, from Henry’s Hut across from Patrol Headquarters (PHQ) at the top of Chair 4. Please arrive at Henry’s Hut by 10:45 to sign a release form. This tour is recommended for High level intermediate or above skiers or riders.
