The mission of the Vail Chamber & Business Association is to responsibly and professionally advocate for economic development and communication capacity for the Vail merchant community that will foster strong collaborative relationships and revenue development opportunities for its membership.

Chris Cremer – President (Alterra Mountain Company)
Chris has been in the ski retail industry for over thirty years and understands the complex needs of both entrepreneurs and corporate entities. He specializes in buying, owning and selling successful ski and whitewater shops. Chris’ comprehension and articulation of complex concepts and ideas has consistently facilitated the alignment of cross functional teams with key company initiatives and directives.
Matt Gruesbeck –Treasurer (First Bank Vail)
Michael Staughton (Slope Enterprises)
Michael arrived in Vail, CO in February, 1974. He started in the restaurant business as a bus boy at the Red Lion, then moved on to manage a number of restaurants and ultimately became the CFO at Los Amigos and Russells. He has served as a restaurant representative on the Vail Resort Association and on the Vail Restaurant Association board twice. Michael has also been a member and advocate for the Vail Rotary Club.
Cabal Yarne (Arriesgado Clothing Company)
Cabal has been a Vail Valley resident for the past thirteen years. Through his work at the Limited, Cabal gained considerable expertise in developing and operating small and large business enterprises. Prior to that, Cabal managed several clothing and logo businesses in Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, and Snowmass. Cabal is also co owner of a wholesale entity called, Colorado Brand Ltd., which fashionably displays Colorado state flags on targeted clothing items.
Ryan Kelsey (Antlers at Vail)
Ryan Kelsey grew up in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He attended and graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 1999 with a B.A. in Political Theory. His love of the mountain west and snow sports industries attracted him to the Vail Valley in January, 2000. Since, Ryan has spent over 16 years growing professionally within our local hospitality and mountain resort industries, acquiring a MBA along the way from the University of Colorado. Ryan is a driven mountain sport enthusiast, whose primary goal in life is to promote and share memories with family, friends, and guests of the Vail Valley within the Rocky Mountains.
Ryan has previously worked for Vail Resorts Inc. as Assistant Manager of the Elkhorn Lodge in Beaver Creek, Destination Hotels and Resorts Vail as Front Office and Reservations Manager, and The Charter at Beaver Creek as Front Office Manager. Currently, Ryan is the Director of Sales and Revenue for the Antlers at Vail, a board member for the Vail Chamber and Business association, and with his wife DiAnna, is co-owner of Healing Hut TCM a Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic clinic in Eagle-Vail, CO.
Zach Meyers (The Arrabelle Hotel)
Zach is a native Coloradan and grew up in Burlington, CO on the eastern plains. Family vacations to Vail were a winter staple throughout his childhood and high school years. Zach attended San Diego State University and received a BA in English in 1996. Shortly after graduating, he started his career in hospitality working at the historic US Grant Hotel and La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club in San Diego before returning to Colorado to begin his Experience of a Lifetime with Vail Resorts in 2005. He spent three years working in the Vail Beaver Creek Resort Properties Group Sales Department before transferring to Hotel Jerome in Aspen and working as the Director of Operations over the three years the property was flagged a RockResort. In 2011, Zach transferred to Jackson Hole where he served as Director of Hotel Operations for Grand Teton Lodge Company for five years. In this role he led all Lodging, Food and Beverage, Camping and Activities operations under Vail Resorts’ concessions agreement with the National Park Service. In 2016 he returned to Vail to take on the role of General Manager at The Arrabelle at Vail Square, a RockResort.
Zach is a proud resident of the Town of Vail. He is passionate about sharing this amazing place with our visitors and delivering world class hospitality to his guests at The Arrabelle. When he’s not at the hotel, you’ll likely find him out in the mountains enjoying the backcountry, skiing, biking, paddling or simply taking in nature.
Marco Valenti (Vail Resorts Retail)
Marco Valenti is the Senior Manager for Vail Resorts Retail in Vail Village and oversees the operation of both the Vail Sports and concept shops. Marco is passionate about his team , the snowsports industry, and delivering world-class guest service throughout town. Originally from North Carolina, Marco and his wife Celine live in East Vail and are very happy to call Vail, CO home.
Tony Herrera (Bol Vail)
Tony Herrera has lived in the Vail Valley for 10 years and is currently the General Manager for Bol-Vail. Previously, Tony was the Director of Restaurants for the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort. He became involved with the VCBA to have an extended voice within the business community and to be an advocate for our town. Tony enjoys living in the valley because of the amazing people that surround him and all the outdoor recreation in our backyards.
Alison Wadey (Executive Director)
Before joining the VCBA team, Alison was an independent marketing and sales consultant for the past two years. Prior to this, she served as the Director of Membership Sales & Marketing at the Club at Cordillera for ten years. She is involved in the community through the Vail Rotary Club and other charitable organizations.
