Driver arrested in road rage shooting near Vail

VAIL — Two people are in custody following a violent road rage shooting incident on eastbound Interstate 70 on Tuesday. At 8:49 a.m., the driver of a blue 2004 BMW 325i contacted the Vail Public Safety Communications Center to report he was actively involved in an ongoing road rage incident with the driver of a 2007 white Mitsubishi Outlander. A records search confirmed the Mitsubishi had been reported stolen in New Mexico.
